Diego Botta works with a visually oriented storytelling, whether directing actors within solid narratives, with his cinematic sensibility, or as a creative director, with his 15 years experience, mostly for fashion industries in Italy and France.
His fashion video “Sisters” have been nominated for numerous awards among which, the New York Chelsea Film Festival, the RD Film Festival and the Not Film Festival.
His films have been shown at a number of international film festivals and he had the honor to win the Italian Academy Award, David di Donatello, for a short movie, which he wrote, “Jody delle giostre” and to be second classified at the Italian Golden Globe with the short “MIA” that he wrote and directed.
In 2018 he has been selected at Cannes Film Festival, Maison de Scenaristes, with the feature script “My Whole Life”.
He graduated on Communication Studies, in Bologna and Paris. He lives and works in Rome and Milan.
